Yes, it's a place for neighbors to share all kinds of things.  If it was
nothing but ads, I wouldn't bother with it.
No idea how secure it is, but there are lots of ways for someone to find my
address if they want to.

How  secure is this website?  It does make me have a second thought about
putting my home address on it...

I like the thought of it being good for advertising your crafts, but it
seems to be a place for neighborhoods to keep each other informed.
