[NFB-Krafters-Korner] upcoming class, Group Project Afghan Rectangles

Hi knitters and crocheters,

 

This class is based on an idea the board has  come up with that we want to
present to you at our general membership meeting later this month.

We would like to know if you would be interested in a group project of
creating an afghan to sell at next year's convention. If members like this
idea we will need many knitted and crocheted rectangles  all of a specific
size, yarn type and color.

Take this class to learn how to make some rectangles for this project.

Class description: 


We are making rectangles to be put together to make an afghan for
fund-raising at national convention.


Skills needed: 


Know how to cast on, knit, purl, and bind off.


Supply list:


Worsted weight yarn in earth tone colors of blue, green, tan, beige, cream,
or brown.

Knitting needles to create gauge of 17 stitches by 20 stitches per inch
equal five inches.
