Jaycie, with this magic loop would you have to sew the hat together? If not, I would love to learn that.

I understand pulling out the cable in the middle, but as the stitches move from needle to needle, do you keep pulling that extended loop out so the stitches will rotate?
I have 2 more rows on a hat and I want to try this method.  I am using double pointed needles on the other one and hope I like magic loop better.
I find the tips of the double pointed needle getting in my way.  I am using size 7 for baby hats!

It’s a method where you use a huge circular needle and split the stitches in half and work one side at a time. It’s super hard to explain. Some people prefer to use it over double points to work in the round on decrease rows :)
