[NFB-Krafters-Korner] Want to know Wednesday

When my daughter was in the hospital, We bought a bag of socks, put regular
white rice in them, and tied the top close. We have ones a friend's child
made for each of us for Christmas about ten years ago. She painted pictures
on them with our names. They are great for muscle pain and headaches. We
have used them over and over again countless times.

As I had a procedure done on my back yesterday afternoon, I was
thinking...Is there anything special you make for someone in the hospital,
sick at home, or in a care facility? For my Gamma and now my Mom, I like to
make a small pillow and fill it with rice which can then be put in the
microwave and warmed up for an ache or pain! Diane
