They also work great  for boys to keep their match box cars in or storage
for so many other things.  If you are thinking about beads I am not sure as
each lid on both sides open one at a time which leaves the 24 squares
exposed.

 

Be sure when you purchase this that you try opening and closing each side.
They click when they are closed.  I have gotten one that the plastic latch
did not close tight enough to hear the click and I contacted them and they
sent me out a new one and they paid for me to ship back the broken one.  The
actual measurements of the outside and the inside cubbys are given on
Amazon.

 

They did have them listed for $23 to $25, but I purchased these right from
Amazon with free 2 day delivery.
