Hello, Ramona,
Nothing falls off my Denise needles. This is one of the reasons I use 
them for traveling. The Addi needles are smooth and I like to use them 
at home. The Addi cord is very thin and I'm trying to teach myself 
Magic Loop. My set is a little old but I understand that the newest 
Addi cords are quite flexible and made with Magic Loop in mind.
