[NFB-Krafters-Korner] crocheters a question

Joyce, Since you are using such a large hook, thee must be a tight one,
giggle. Without making a mess, pull your yarn off the skein or ball so it
lays on the table floor something. The loose tention of the yarn will help
make nice even stitches. Also, put relaxing music on. You want your body
happy and relaxed. Also, the hook with a flat neck is also good to keep
stitches even. Put a space marker every ten chains or twenty, if you can
handle that, to keep the stitch count.
Anything I can do to help, I am right here. Also I would love to make a
sweater with you in a class, warm hugs.
Becky feeling good

The chain is the foundation of a sweater approx.. 150 chains with a size N
crochet hook. First I am thinking this is a rather large hook and it is a
ripple sweater, next they are suggesting you use a DK or Light Worsted Yarn.
I had made several crochet pullover sweaters going back many a year back
that was crocheted and I really liked them. You started at the bottom front
and worked up and worked the neckline, but you continued over the shoulders
and ended at the bottom back. You picked stitches up and worked the sleeves
down on each side and you did a rib type crochet stitch at the cuffs and
bottom of the sweater. It had a boat type neck. Wish I could find the
pattern.
They worked up fast with worstered weight and a K hook.

Joyce,
How long of a chain are you wanting? If you keep your tension even, your
chain will turn out nice and even. If I can help, just let me know.
