Easy Ways to Thread a Tapestry Needle

  1.  Take a small piece of heavy paper (not card stock, but thicker than copy paper)
  2.  Fold the paper in half.
  3.  trim one end at an angle to make a point.
  4.  Place your yarn in the fold.
  5.  Slide the yarn & paper threader thru the eye of your needle.
  6.  Pull yarn thru eye of your needle.
  7.  Your needle is threaded.

Another threading tip:

  1.  Place a small amount of tape around the end of your yarn.
  2.  Pass the taped yarn thru the eye of your needle
  3.  Pull yarn thru leaving about a 6-inch tail.
  4.  Trim the taped yarn from your yarn tail.
  5.  Begin sewing.
