[NFB-Krafters-Korner] Tips for storing yarn

I have my worsted weight yarns in the collapsible baskets, for my book cases.  I have 2 colors in a basket, unless I have a lot of one color, like blue shades.  I mix black  and white, red and yellow, purple and pink and blue, by itself.
I have my cotton in a bin, my home spun, in a drawer, and other brands in their own drawers.  I still have some yarns, that have not been labeled!

What passes for orgaanization in my stash if by fiber, and then sometimes by weight.  Cotton together, with a bit of linen thrown in.  Fingering wool separate from bulky wool.
Another project for when I retire at the end of the year, perhaps, when I've nothing better to do some day.

Lol I only have three skeins of yarn, myself. My stache is even tinier than hers. :) I did think it was strange that she specifically stored worsted weight yarn in one bin and everything else in another bin. Wouldn't it make sense to separate everything out by weight? Or fiber type? I'd do both, myself, then sort by color. That's beassuming I get this knitting thing down and actually start to get a stache big enough to need to sort it out like that. :) I really need to work on that today, after mixing up a few batches of banana bread. I can't bake them until my new loaf pan comes in, but I can park the batter in the fridge and work on the knitting in between. :)
