Wire fact
Larger the number the thinner the wire
In the beading online stores 
30 gauge wire is for the tiny beads such as seed beads
For pony bead projects I use 22 gauge or 24 gauge wire

Safety pin  beading I use 20 or 18 gauge wire and with my mouse kits that
are safety and it has holly leaves and several 6mm beads  for that 22 gauge
was recommended.

No, and I would like to use thicker wire for this. You can also buy wire in
a variety of colors.

Bernice, and anyone who knows about the wire, do we always use 26 gage wire
in beading?

Here is the list of materials, just in case you want to get your own and
join us.

The original list of materials didn't have a wire cutter, but even if you
asked for one of the kits I put together, you will need a wire cutter to
trim each piece of wire.

1.           31, 6 mm faceted beads
2.           40, 8 mm faceted beads
3.           10, 18 mm star beads
4.           10, tri beads
5.           10, number 2 safety pins
6.           24 inches, 26 gage craft wire

Please do the following for home work before the class. Put 3 8 mm beads on
each of 10 safety pins. If you have a kit from me, the smaller zip lock bag
has the 8 mm beads. I put a couple of extra of everything except the cut
wire. So, don't worry that you didn't make enough at any step.
