Hi Lovette.
Well, this clears up everything.
You do the ripple and stockinette set twice, then you have a big middle section of all ripple, then you finish off with the ripple-stockinette set again.  Sounds pretty.

Okay, so this comes under two names and I did write elsewhere about this pattern and here was the response.
YARNSPIRATIONS TEAM 6 DAYS AGO  
On this pattern, you have information on both the colors you need to use and the pattern stitch rows for the Ripple Stripe. The main pattern that begins with Body will tell you which pattern stitch you're supposed to use.

Rows 1 - 8 of the body refer to the Ripple Stripe pattern in color A Rows 9 - 16 of the body refer to the Stockinette Stripe pattern. Rows 17 - 32: work 8 rows in the Ripple Stripe pattern and 8 rows in the Stockinette Stripe pattern Rows 33 - 48: Change to color B and work Rows 1 - 8 of the Ripple Stripe Pattern twice Rows 49- 56: Change to color C and repeat Rows 1 - 8 of the Ripple Stripe pattern Rows 57 - 72: Change to color B and work Rows 1 - 8 of the Ripple Stripe pattern twice. Repeat Rows 1 - 72 twice, then change to color A and repeat Rows 1 - 32.
