[NFB-Krafters-Korner] 3 needle bind off

I just got home from our chapter meeting. I knew I would be to late for the
loom class, darn it! I ran into a knitting pattern problem that I'm asking
the group about. The other day at work a coworker that is pregnant asked me
if I would make her baby boy booties. Of course I said yes. Well, I made the
first one and when I got to the end, the instructions said to use the 3
needle bind off method. So, can anybody give me instructions on how to do
that kind of bind off?

I put the stitches on a stitch holder though, and went right ahead and did
the second bootie.

She doesn't know it, but I bought enough of the dreaded dk yarn to make her
baby a sweater, hat and blanket also.

I found patterns in a knitting book I bought from NBP many years ago. I made
the first bootie, and decided I didn't like it. It looked way to big for a
newborn baby. Also, it had a eyelet pattern. It was quite a pain trying to
pearl two stitches together when 1 stitch was a yarn over in the previous
row. I did it but I didn't like how it felt either.

I am making up the blanket pattern, but I am going to look on Ravelry to see
if the same person that had the bootie pattern has a hat and sweater that
will look more or less the same as the booties. The booties are very simple.

Have a great night,

Bernice and the adorable Lolo.
