Hi, Tracy!

I have not put my stash in Ravelry because of the time it would take. Getting to the pattern you want does take a bit of time, but I think about how long it would take to do a google search & then Ravelry doesn’t seem so bad. I will have to get the app & play around!

Subject: [NFB-Krafters-Korner] Ravelry

I finally signed up for a Ravelry account, and I got my first pattern!

It was a bit complicated; I had to follow about 4 links before I actually
got the download.

I also got a phone app that works with Ravelry. It's called Alpaca. I
started my Ravelry search on the app, and found my pattern pretty quickly,
but then I couldn't figure out how to get from the words on my phone over to
my braillenotetaker, which is by far my preferred way to read and work on
patterns. I was able to send the pattern to myself as a message, but that
was as far as I could get. So I searched for the same pattern with my PC,
downloaded the PDF, saved that as text, and put it on my notetaker.

Does anyone know an easier way to get this done?

I see options to put my stash on Ravelry. That sounds possibly useful,
though I'm loath to do the work if it doesn't work well. Has anyone done
that, and was it useful?

Tracy
