Hello crafters!

I wanted to share some info with you.

Craft Sell
Yes, I do know this is in July but I wanted to toss it out in case any
new members might be interested.

In July, the National Federation of the Blind sponsors our national
convention.  This year it is in Houston, Texas.  We will have a room
available to us to sell our craft items.  In the past I have seen many
beautiful items on the tables.  I have seen soaps, lotions, jewelry,
embroidered scarves, schawls, plastic canvas items, crocheted, needle
knitted and loom knitted items just to name a few.  It is time to
start planning your products and building your supply.

The Crafters Division rents tables to those wanting to participate.
We would also like to ask for some items to be donated to the Division
table.  The sale of these items go into the Division treasury.

Start planning and making things to sell and donate.  You will be
hearing more reminders over the next few months from Terry Powers
about the tables.  If you want to donate items to the Division table,
please let me know.

Rectangles
Speaking of Convention, the board has been requesting 7 inch wide by 9
inch long rectangles.  This is also a Fund Raiser for the Division.
We would love to show off your talents with these pieces.  They will
be assembled into a blanket by Jill.  I need to make a correction to
the color list.  Please use any of the following: Cream, Beige, Tan,
Green or Blue.  Hope I got that right this time.  Smile! Please let
Jill know you have rectangles to send so she can share her address
with you.

Since we are planning ahead, we will be needing people to work in the
Exhibit Hall to sell raffle tickets for the blanket(s).  More on that
later.


Back to the present!
Do you like the classes?  Do you want classes?  I know I enjoy the
classes but we have a MAJOR problem!  We need people to step up to
teach some classes.  You can do a small project that can be completed
in one class or a more involved project that takes two or more
classes.  You can offer classes by email, phone or a combo of both.
If you want to do a  Pop Up class, that is welcome too.  If you have
questions or want to teach a class, give me a call or email so I can
put it on the calendar.
