I recently bought some books from Marjorie at blind mice mega mall. I used one pattern for the afghan and am working on a top down raglan sweater. Most of my best patterns came off the backs of yarn labels. My daughter would like a pattern, so she had to learn to dictate them. I have made a three-color yoke sweater a couple of dozen times. It uses circular needles and has 0 seams. I usually sew  up  the wrists in order not to have to do the 4 double point needle thing. There can be nothing proprietary about this pattern.
