The oven is a counter top oven, commonly called eye level. The stove top is
separate and smooth. The controls are in the front. We will see if I can
judge the location on the smooth surface. Time will tell. I always keep a
full tea kettle on my stove when I have had an electric stove before. As
soon as I take the pan from cooking off, I put the tea kettle on the hot
burner. That way I won't set anything on the still hot burner. Like I said,
time will tell.

When I bought this place in 2006, it had a stove with the controls, on the
back.  I did not want to have to reach over burners, to control the stove,
so replaced it with a frunt controls, stove.  Why not replace it, if the
oven is below?

1,300 feet with a swimming pool, hurray. It has 3 bedrooms, one of which we
will turn into a utility room with the washer and drier, freezer, kitty
litter box, etc. It has a fireplace, which I would just as long not have.
There is an eye level oven which I love. I will have to adapt to a smooth
counter top range.
