[NFB-Krafters-Korner] Thank God for knitting

I had deer eat my tomatoes and other stuff one year, so when I put a fence
up it was a 6 foot stockade fence. Then my daughter's dog ate my peppers. I
am always afraid of stinging things because my family seems to become
allergic later in life. 

I agree about knitting being a life saver. I had two cortisone shots in my
right hand Monday, so it should be fore comfortable to knit in a few days.
I'll keep unpacking boxes while it is getting better and when I find my
knitting stash to start something new. I finished both log cabin afghans
except for tucking in all of the ends.

What a terrible last few days I have had. Went out to pick raspberries and
got stung by two wasps, so that came to an end quickly. Had to get someone
to find the hive and remove it for me. In the mean  time  a day later I went
out to the garden to pick strawberries and discovered that the deer ate all
my strawberry plants, my flowers and my tomato plants. Had my Dad check my
raspberry patch today to make sure all the wasps were gone and he helped me
pick raspberries today. In the last 3 days I've knit up half of a  baby
blanket which has kept me sane.
