I always have two because if I get stucdk on one I won't leave it without
another to work on and I have been known in the past to throw away perfectly
good projects because I didn't have the patience to wait for help.

I usually have 2 different projects going, one mindless project I can work
on while paying attention to a show or a conversation, and one more
challenging that I make sure I can focus on without distractions.

I almost always knit or crochet while listening to something on TV.  Many
Hallmark movies or mysteries are especially good for this.  They're quite
predictable, but engaging nonetheless.  
But, if the show gets really interesting, or the knitting gets really
complicated, I have to stop one or the other.
I really should practice some mindfulness while knitting, but, well, usually
I don't.

So, do you guys craft while listening to movies in description? I usually
do, but last night my husband and I watched frozen two again, and it was so
interesting, that I got nothing done on my project....
