[NFB-Krafters-Korner] Knitting project bags.

Hello, everyone,

I'm looking for suggestions for knitting project bags without graumits or other similar yarn slits. I don't like the idea of not being able to take my project out of the bag if I wanted, and with these types of bag, you're totally stuck using that bag for only that project--the only way to remove the project is to cut the yarn.

I've heard of Erin Lane bags, which I think use a drawstring closure, but I'd like some more options. What have any of you used that fits these criteria? What did you like or dislike?

I haven't gotten anywhere with knitting, because I'm just not understanding anyone's directions for casting on; I've tried Knitting in Plain English, the tutorials from fingeringyarn.wordpress.com, and many other books. I'm just not understanding any of it. Luckily, the local library, which is about a mile from my house, has a knitting group on Fridays. I'm hoping they can help me get started. :) I think when I finally understand what to do, I'm going to try writing tutorials on my own blog. I've only posted a few entries, and they're super old, but maybe, if I do this, they can help someone who's instructionally challenged like myself. Lol.

Thanks,
Ari
