Audible offering hundreds of kids audiobooks for free

Audible is offering kids hundreds of free audiobooks to keep them sane
while stuck at home and practicing social distancing. Audible
Stories<https://stories.audible.com/start-listen>, is a new service
that is live and available through web browsers or the company’s
official desktop and mobile apps.

The company added that from March 19, kids everywhere can instantly
stream the wide collection of stories, including titles across six
different languages. The company stated: “This will help them continue
dreaming, learning, and just being kids.”

Select titles include the likes of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein, Herman
Melville’s Moby Dick, Jack London’s White Fang, William Shakespeare’s
Hamlet, and A.A. Milne’s Winnie the Pooh.  There are modern works as
well, including plenty of Audible Originals, such as Ashli St.
Armant’s Viva Durant and the Secret of the Silver Buttons, Lee Bacon’s
The Mystery of Alice, and V. E. Schwab’s The Near Witch. There are
also plenty of educational offerings, including Neil deGrasse Tyson’s
Astrophysics for Young People in a Hurry and Richard Robert’s Becoming
Fluent.
