Look at you, Ari! You got your elfin forest yarn and your Clover needles! Soon you'll be away with the fairies, knitting up a spring storm!

Subject: [NFB-Krafters-Korner] Wow! Weight 4 yarn is so, so thin!

So, I just got my skein of worsted weight 4 yarn from Amazon delivered. I purchased some Red Heart Soft Yarn in the color Garden. The Aira agent described it as a soft yellow-brown almost like bage, then deep earthy red-brown, then fern--which she discribed as being like a light green, then deep leaf green. It sounded really pretty. Lol when I asked if she thought it was kind of "elfy," she agreed with me. Made me think of a forest. Anyhow, It's so thin-feeling! What popped into my head right away was that it felt like Spaghetti, which then change to angel hair pasta. I'm not sure how much I like yarn this thin, but we'll see, I guess.

My size 8 fixed circular from Clover also arrived. I got the 29-inch version. I decided to go with a fixed circular for now as I don't know how well I'll like knitting on circulars, so I didn't want to shell out for an interchangeable set.

My scissors also arrived, and while they're nice and small, they don't come with a sheath, which is quite annoying. One of the Amazon reviews specifically mentioned using them with the sheath, so imagine my annoyance when I opened the envelope everything came in, only to find that there was no sheath with the scissors. :( That's another return I'm going to have to make to Amazon. I looked forever to find ones that came with sheaths that weren't too pricey and had good reviews! I should've just gone with the first ones I found, since the description specifically mentioned them coming with a sheath. Ah, well, live and learn, I guess. I was trying to avoid going above $10. I should've just done so. Or asked Aira to have a look at the pictures.

Well, maybe I can get the return going right now and save myself a second trip to the UPS store and drop off everything at once.

Thanks,
Ari
