I really wanted to attend the gathering tonight, but my family didn't leave
until more than probably half way through.

I have used 6 shades of blue so far in the blanket. Then my grandson said he
wanted some other colors. My son-in-law helped me shop in my yarn stash
tonight. I'm going to do 1 section each in red, orange, yellow, green, blue,
and purple. I had all but purple that would work. All that had labels still
on them were Red Heart no dye lot, so I can buy more for the other
grandson's blanket. My other grandson wants a rainbow blanket. He is too big
to ware his rainbow poncho I made, so when he saw me making his big brother
a blanket he said he wants one too. I would say I'm making headway in using
up yarn from my stash. My goal this year that I mentioned in one of the
Wednesday questions was to work as much from my stash as possible this year.
I'll have to buy a couple of skeins to finish the second blanket though. I'm
getting good at deleting all of the craft store ads that come to my inbox.

Take care,

Bernice and the adorable LoLo
