I listened all of the way through and it never went to anything else. It wanted me to buy their product, and there was no skip advertisement button. Weird.

It played just fine for me. You may have only seen one of the very long ads that have been popping up on YouTube as of late. You should be able to find a "Skip Ad" button on the screen if you're using a smartphone. I'd use the find command if you're looking at the video on a computer, as that will probably find the button faster.
