[NFB-Krafters-Korner] Success Saturday

Today on TV I heard about a guy that plays taps at parades and funerals. Of
course there are no parades this year. So, he is asking everybody that can
play taps to go out tomorrow afternoon at 3:00 P.M.  in their neighborhood
and play taps. Then everybody that can hear them should go outside and honor
our people that have served. I sure hope I hear taps. My son-in-law served
in Iraq and Kuwait, and suffers from PTSD. All summer holidays are spent
with noise canceling headset on him to block the sound of fireworks.

I have been working outside most of the afternoon putting together a new
patio table. It's just a cheap one from WalMart but "some assembly
required." And I got some help to turned upright and six chairs around it.
Table and chairs are black. My son gave me an umbrella (red) to go over the
table for Mother's Day. We raised it up but took it back out because I am
afraid we might have wind tonight. Looks good, though. May need to have a
picnic on Memorial Day! Crafty? you decide. Didn't have eyet to read
instructions, but seemed pretty clear, just a little heavy. Good skids at
bottom of legs, so easy to move on patio.

I lost the battle with my i-pad this morning, but still feel as though I
made big accomplishment! Grin!
