Hi Tracie,
I don't know exactly which tool you are referring to.  The crimping pliers
have flat handles with a sort of teeth closers at the top on each side.
When squeezed closed the teeth grip the crimp bead tightly, making flat
grooves across, permanently sealing it so that your project won't fall
apart.
There are so many jewelry tools to choose from that I can't really say what
yours is.  It sounds like it may be a hole punch.

Hi Annie.

Thanks for your helpful description.

I'm still not sure if what I've got is a crimping tool.  It has handles like
a pair of pliers, but, where the blades would be it is rounded.  When I open
the pliers, there is a small opening on each side of the rounded part.  When
I close the handles, the openings close.  The parts that close are offset,
so whatever is between will be squeezed at an angle, or so it seems to me.
What is this mystery tool?  Is it a crimping tool?

Bible and found a new home for the 18 volume braille copy. It is boxed and
awaiting addressing. Also, I've sorted all of the books on my very large
bookshelf ready to pack or find homes for.

Good job, Bernice!
Mine isn't a craft thing either, but I've upgraded the software I use to
translate print music into braille, and I'm studying up on how to use it to
convert from pdf files all the way into braille, so I'll be ready for a big
harp festival later this summer.  It's a bit daunting, but I'm making a
start.

It isn't a craft thing, but I have downloaded the King James version of the
Bible and found a new home for the 18 volume braille copy. It is boxed and
awaiting addressing. Also, I've sorted all of the books on my very large

Someone in my NFB chapter, asked me to design something.  I did and it was a
success and now I have another item, one or two or three, to add to my
collection!
I have been using this Disaster time to create new items to sell!
I have also been finishing items, on back order!

Well. We got a table top grill and are going to add grilling to our
skills. I can't wait until we live in a place where we could have a
charco or wood burning grill but this is are available option here so
we are taking it.

I have been working outside most of the afternoon putting together a new
patio table. It's just a cheap one from WalMart but "some assembly
required." And I got some help to turned upright and six chairs around it.
Table and chairs are black. My son gave me an umbrella (red) to go over the
table for Mother's Day. We raised it up but took it back out because I am
afraid we might have wind tonight. Looks good, though. May need to have a
picnic on Memorial Day! Crafty? you decide. Didn't have eyet to read
instructions, but seemed pretty clear, just a little heavy. Good skids at
bottom of legs, so easy to move on patio.

I lost the battle with my i-pad this morning, but still feel as though I
made big accomplishment! Grin!

I finally finished the border and the Afghan for our fundraiser. It has been
laundered photos have been taken and is now sealed up in a bag. Just waiting
