Tammy from Mitsy Kits has put together a special craft kit for our holiday party on December 20th For only $4.00 plus shipping you can have all the materials you will need to make 4 ornaments. Tammy will join us and teach how to assemble the projects. We will also have other fun activities.

 Make your own Christmas ornaments!  This kit comes with supplies to make a variety of four ornaments including 1 Folded Fabric Star, 1 Christmas Angel, 1 Snowman, and 1 Christmas Child Ornament kit.  See descriptions of each below:

The folded fabric star is made using five inch square cotton Christmas fabrics, with coordinating patterns on either side, a small bead and a wire ornament hanger.  Everything you need is included in the kit to assemble except for elmers glue to glue the bead in the center of ornament. Instructions are provided to enable people who are blind or visually impaired to assemble by touch.

The Christmas angel is made using a wooden ball with gold crown, white cotton fabric dress, sheer gold ribbon wings, and a wire ornament hanger.  Everything you need is included in the kit to assemble. Instructions are provided to enable people who are blind or visually impaired to assemble by touch.

The snowman is made up of three wooden balls with black eyes, orange carrot shaped nose and black button smile drawn on the face, fleece fabric for scarf and a wire ornament hanger.  Tactile bumps are placed on the back of the balls to help those who are blind or visually impaired to assemble by touch.  Everything you need is included in the kit to assemble, with the exception of elmers glue if you want to glue the balls together after assembling (this is optional).

The Christmas Child kit includes wooden ball with drawn eyes and smile for face, fleece fabric for hat and body, small elastic to cinch hat at top of ball, and christmas tree ornament hanger.  The only thing you need to supply is a little glue to secure the hat to the top of the wooden ball, and scissors to slit the pom pom on top of the hat.

You will enjoy putting all of these ornaments together as much as you will enjoy them on your tree!
