How is the book only partially accessible?  The usual, some patterns are
charted?

There is the single pattern for the socks at $8.  Apparently, the designer
had been making donation to The Seeing Eye from some of the proceeds of that
particular pattern.  The book Nourishing Knits, also includes the same
pattern plus several more and that is $20.00

I purchased the book and it is only partially accessible.

I have contacted the author, for assistance.

Hopefully, we will get some answers from the designer.

So, I'm confused. Is what we are talking about a book or a single pattern? I
never saw a pattern cost $8. Could someone please clarify?

It's on Ravelry, and costs $8.
I found it by putting guide dog in the search box, then looking through the
list until I found it.  The list is only 20 total.
It says it is a sock with a lace pattern of pawprints on the instep and up
the leg, with "guided by love" in braille around the cuff.
