Hello there,
I'm also interested in this class.
I used to sew, but since losing my vision, I haven't tried. I'm totally
blind, is it difficult to sew with no vision? Are there tips for using the
sewing machine?
I'm feeling optimistic.
Thanks Iris

Subject: [NFB-Krafters-Korner] Just a little peak..

Not sure if you remember the fabrics I have been gathering or searching for
the Holiday aprons, but I feel I am done.

I now have the off the off white for the embroidered blocks [I have not
gotten thru mile files to tell you more and I have someone I have asked to
express her opinion on picking out some..

I have now a small red & white and a green & white check for the back side
of the apron. I have prints for the front tiny toys, tossed holiday Gomes,
tiny reindeer, small penquins aprox. 1", tiny Christmas trees

I know you are all thinking gee whiz what is going to look like? Well I
need to get the fabrics and go over to have my Mom's opinion.

I have these ideas running around in my mind and need some input in from you
all. I want to have these kits done and in the mail by October 15or sooner.

Give me some ideas what embroidered blocks you think you would like:
Snowman?[I already have one picked out for this] Holiday theme with a
cardinal and Holly berries, Bake items, maybe Holiday cheers, what do you
all think.I can also use the prints on the back and use the red & green
check fabrics on the front? As don't forget the back will be included in
the fringe on the front of the apron.

I shared my thoughts, now it is your turn.

Please do let me know who will be interested in this class as I need to know
how many will be taking this class.

I will say one thing, the shipping will be $5 and any out of country need to
contact me me prior to October 1.

This is an easy sewing project. All you need is size 14 needles for your
sewing machine and off white thread for your sewing machine. Yes, you need
a sewing machine too!

I need to hear from who is interested and I will let folks know the amount
of fabric you will need to do this. You can cut this out yourself and use
fabric you have purchased. I will offer an option of you using your fabric
and cutting it out and you can purchase the embroidered blocks from me or I
will do it and all you will need is sew the blocks together.

Do take this class as you will learn how to make a popular whay of making a
rag quilt for a cozy cover up, make it for a bed or whatever. The kids love
these throws, too.

Just remember this is made out of flannel fabric. 100% cotton!
