[NFB-Krafters-Korner] leather lacing

I learned several lacing stitches when I was younger, but I don't remember
anything other the whip stitch. I know I learned a button stitch, but I
don't remember how to do it. One year, when my husband and I were both
students, we made Tandy leather kit things for everybody. A checkbook cover
for my dad, a key holder for my mom, a belt for his cousin, moccasins for
someone else. There were no two gifts the same. I would like to relearn what
I used to know and more. I don't know if you can buy the kits any more.
Maybe you would have to punch the holes yourself.

Maybe someone knows some other weaving projects also that they would like to
share.

I was chicken to sign up for quilting. My friend is a master quilter, but
she does it all by machine.

Retirement is for branching out I think. I am absolutely determined to quit
by the end of the year, Now back to work.
