That’s a great idea Tami! You could use leather like cord and wooden beads. To make a design there’s comes in different colors I know for sure probably different shapes and texture. I have several hot pads that use strips about the width of masking tape that are kind of like woven strips only they were curved and stacked kind of into a design with flat sides. Kind a like different layers of ribbon on its side. I would put a picture out but I don’t know how many people can see it. It looks kind of Scandinavian I guess if that helps anyone. Kind of reminds me of the braided wheat decorations people buy that are supposed to be good luck for fertility. Anyhow I can create in my head but I can’t describe things. Good thing I’m not teaching anything! What I’m basically saying is I can totally picture making A really cool coaster/hot pad thing.
