I'm going to call Bullucks and see what they say about temperature for pony
beads, and check on wooden beads. Also, I don't know if they sell any kits.
I can see where my friend gets her beaded kits.

Teresa and Ken or Amanda tried to make a coaster, but not a hot pad.  I
would be afraid of them melting if the item just came out of the oven!
They would be great for cold items.

We did a weaving method.  I think it was the payet stitch.  I might still
have the imfo, somewhere!

Good morning listers,

I was wondering, and it is rather dangerous to wonder, if a hot pad could
be made of pony beads. 

A friend of mine made me a wall hanging of pony beads that is a lighthouse,
no surprise. You string the beads back and forth with a heavy cord
following the color directions to make a picture. Has Joyce or anybody else
made a hot pad like this? I don't know how susceptible those beads are to
heat. 

I don't know if Teresa and Ken Taylor are still on this list, but I bet
they or Joyce would know.
