[NFB-Krafters-Korner] beaded hot pads

Hello,

Yes, I do remeber Amanda Taylor teaching the beaded pictures. The various stitches were interesting to learn. I particularly remember making a beaded coin purse. Unfortunately I didn’t find the stitch patterns the easiest thing to make. The cord had to go through a bead at least two or more times and the cords would tangle and I would have a real mess. the cord used was thin and a beading needle was used that would often prick my fingers. I would try it again however if there was a class. I also remember learning to make a star and a snowflake using the same technique.
I do have the instructions for the peote stitch and ladder stitch as well as the star and snowflake, but I can’t teach it because I could never do it myself.
I only teach a project if I’ve successfully made it myself first.

May God bless you.
 Cathy F
