[NFB-Krafters-Korner] Dues

Divisions within my state do this by holding fundraisers. Granted, it is more difficult for a national division to hold a fundraiser.  I'm just not convinced dues are the best way to accomplish this worthwhile goal.

Part of why we raised the dues is to be able to assist people to go to National convention.  I know we have not been able to assist anyone in 2020 and will not do so for 2021, but this will give us more to assist others, in the future.  We also contribute to 1 or more of the NFB funds.
Assisting people to go to convention has been a great help to many!
Many of us are on a fixed income and or have families to raise and do not have the money to spend.
For us to have a meeting, at convention, we need most of the board, to attend.
I can name 4, off the top of my head that have been given assistance to attend convention.
Do you know of any other division that does this?
