I was going thru some very old emails and came across this one.  The subject
line was:

 

"Folks living outside the USA"

 

Please excuse if sanyone is offended to the replies that this generated.  It
was to promote membership.  You are reading these backwards & it is dated
back 2014

I have not heard any complaints by the teachers regarding this.  I listen to
the teachers and students and that is what steers  my decisions.  

 

I might be the force behind Krafters Korner, but Krafters Korner is for
everyone and Everyone makes Krafters Korner what it is.

 

Likewise we haven't had great numbers show up for telphone classes, but I
believe they claim you can have 99 calls at one time.  There are controls
that the teachers can manipulate, but again we have not needed to use that
as of yet.

 

Just keep info coming to me.  I will try my hardest to keep things going
smoothly for you.

Hello Joyce.
I do mention KraftersKorner on my radio show which I do every Saturday on 95
the mix.
I will write to the guide dogs news letter and see if they will mention it.
I will offer 1 year free sign up but there I will need your help.
When or if you get new members from Australia and they say they heard about
Krafters korner from the news letter that the guide dogs send out.
I will pay for the first 3 sign up for new members.
I have got so much out of Krafters korner I would like to put something back

You represent a number of members that have found Krafters Korner  and seem
to be enjoying what we do.  There isn't a lot of you [under 10] and I  am
asking your help.  We have developed our email class section so folks living
any where can join in classes at their own time and pace.  I have  noticed
you on sign ups for email classes.

The help I need from each one of you is to invite friends and family members
and reach out to the blind community in your areas of the world and tell
them about Krafters Korner.  I am asking you to try to double the members  
living outside the USA.  It is up to you to spread the  word.    Next time 
you go to a meeting for the blind consider  giving a donation of a year's
membership in NFB Krafters Division in your area  of the world.
