Hi all,

 

I was talking with my friend who has worked with Operation Christmas Child
for 27 years, and told her about our project. She was so pleased!  She
wanted to let us know that donations can be accepted until sometime in
November and that any late donations are sent to another charity for
children. She also wanted to encourage us to make hats, scarves and head
bands for the children. Even though the kids live in hot climates they just
love the novelty of owning and wearing a hat, headband or scarf.

I have taught a loom knit beading hat for children that I was thinking of
teaching in mid September if folks might be interested. Terry P has taught a
loom knit headband. I know a skinny scarf has been taught but don't remember
who taught that one. But, these are some class ideas.
