Class description: 


This is the first class in a series of ongoing classes for beginners about
learning to make jewelry. Also, in this first class, students will learn how
to use the tools and supplies needed to make jewelry. 

In this first class students will make a 16-inch beaded necklace. In future
classes students will learn how to make a bracelet and earrings.

Skills needed: 

An interest in learning to make jewelry


Supply list:


Purl beads choose between 8mm, 6mm, or 4mm in color of your choice.

*         beating cord thickness of 1mm up to 2mm in material of your
choice, (such as hemp, waxed cotton, leather, etc.)

*         spring ring clasp or barrel clasp

*         two bead tips size 2mm,

*         2 shanks for all sizes

*         two jump rings, size 2mm or 4mm

large eye beating needles

*         needle nose pliers

*         round nose pliers

*         bent nose pliers

*         wire cutters
