Sunday the 15th is the last day to sign up for my class to knit a snowflake
placemat and napkin ring. This pattern is a lace pattern. I made mine in
blue cotton yarn even though snow isn't blue. . The bottom and top edges are
strait, but the short sides are scalloped. That means there is quite a lot
of increasing and decreasing throughout. The pattern is listed as an
intermediate pattern. You will definitely need a way to keep track of your
rows. If you are looking for a bit of a challenge, this is a good pattern
for you. My opinion is that it is a much prettier delicate piece of work
than the Christmas sparkle placemat I presented earlier this summer. I hope
you will consider joining me to produce this beautiful project.
