Oh, I used a yarn called feels like butta. I got it on amazon, and it is soft, but not fuzzy like some soft yarns. I used a double strand to make my daughter's afghan on size 7 needles. It is so plush and soft.

Subject: [NFB-Krafters-Korner] Looking for the right yarn

So, I have a little bit of a dilemma, but I think I figured it out. I have a friend that just had a baby two weeks ago. I have been crocheting little shoes for this baby, including little pink Mary Janes with little bows on the toe, sandals with big flowers, Nikes and some snowboard boots… As the families is snowboarders. Anyway, as I was sitting with my friend today talking, she told me that one of her child’s legs is a club foot. She has to have a cast on her leg every week or every other week changed out, but will have a constant cast for probably three months. So, I was thinking of maybe making a sock or maybe even a leg warmer to put over the cast. Is there a sock yarn or stretchy yarn that I could make, crocheting of course, that would look good and fit well?
