Yes,

I have been a Girl Scout for many years. That is where I learned how to do
it and I was actively involved with a Girl Scout Camp after I went blind and
worked there in the summer.

Subject: [NFB-Krafters-Korner] A craft from my distant past

I was trying to explain my fancy shawl pattern to my husband, and I said it
reminds me of the godseyes we used to make back in grade school, or maybe
Brownies, way back in the mists of time. He had no idea what I was talking
about. Did other people used to make them? It's basically 2 sticks
crossed, then you wind yarn around to make a kind of eye-shaped pattern in
the middle. Don't ask me how exactly the winding was done; I've totally
forgotten. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

Tracy
