Hi Tracy, yes, I do know about the Gods Eyes, big smile
I'll have to dig pretty deep and far into my memory banks to remember how my
Aunt Jane and I used to make them as kids.
My Grandmom (Aunt Janes Mom) used to hang them on her Christmas tree, and
tell all of us kids that God was watching us all of the time.
Grandmom even hung them up in the kids rooms and, had my Parents hang them
up in my room with the saying that God was everywhere, and always had His
Eyes on us.
Let's see if we can find a pattern for Gods Eyes, and, try to teach them as
maybe a Pop Up class.
Would there be any interest in this?

I was trying to explain my fancy shawl pattern to my husband, and I said it
reminds me of the godseyes we used to make back in grade school, or maybe
Brownies, way back in the mists of time.  He had no idea what I was talking
about.  Did other people used to make them?  It's basically 2 sticks
crossed, then you wind yarn around to make a kind of eye-shaped pattern in
the middle.  Don't ask me how exactly the winding was done; I've totally
forgotten.  Anyone know what I'm talking about?
