Worse than that and perhaps more puzzling is that many entities design their
own color names that are just used on their websites. So google may help a
lot, but it may not always tell the entire story.

I read down the list and they left out, grass green!
Is there a way to get different color ranges, like the range for blue?

Hi Joyce.  That was interesting, though not all the descriptions are very
informative.
I get so frustrated by color names, especially fashion colors, like on QVC.
Some I can guess, and some are a complete mystery to me.

I was in search for finding a thread color that was medium green.  So I did
a search on Google  and put in "Names of color green.

I didn't check out any other colors and I wished it gave a description of
all the color, but I have heard the nnames of these colors and it helped me.

 

I do searches for "what color is---? Frequently with the names of thread
colors.
