I would love that, too!
Who would ever guess, Home Town Phoenix Azalia would be a combo of hot pink, yellow and blue!

Hi Joyce,
I really remember colors well and a dream come true for me would be if some one created a master list of a large number of color variations. They could be described by the lightness/darkness, the subtlty or not so subtile color/colors in the shade. You were talking about red. Wow, it drives me nut s when some one cannot tell me whether the red is light or dark, has a orange or purple tone, whether there is a brown tint and the like. I have a friend who can do that for me, but oh would I like a cheat cheet that says that granny apple is a redish purple with blue highlights or whatever that shade really is. <smile> do you think it is even a reasonable goal for someone to create such a list. I know that some companys go crazy with names that don’t make sense, but something like granny smith apple is probably the color of this apple. The closest I remember to this was when Sarah had taught those yarn pallet classes where she described tall he shades in that yarn. Also once you found a list of description of all a companys yarn colors.
I have a lion brand homespun yarn called candy apple and my friend told me that isthat is exactly the color the yarn is. That I like.
Enough babbling for me. Time to take out the dogs.
May God bless you.
