[NFB-Krafters-Korner] found a new term

I think things like yfwd are old ways of writing patterns. I think I've
seen it in really old patterns, like a collection I found somewhere of
patterns from the early 20th century.
Or maybe it's an English way of writing things--not sure about that. But
I've found that kind of abbreviation in a few BlindMice pattern books.
It is a bit more descriptive than yarnover, though.

Subject: [NFB-Krafters-Korner] found a new term

Good morning,

I bought a few knitting books from Blind Mice, and decided to make a tulip
bud cloth. Well, it had an abbreviation of yfwd. I went onto google and
listened to a youtube recording or two. It seems that it is just another way
to write a yarn over. It is called a yarn forward. Then I asked google if
yfwd and yarn over were the same, and thankfully it said yes.

Learn something everyday is recommended to keep you sharp. So I learned my
thing yesterday. Now if I could just get the pattern correct. I think there
is a mistake in it.

Have a wonderful Saturday.

Bernice
