Oh, Tammy, 
As one of the new kids on the block, I thank you so very much for this
message. 
It answers so many questions for me, and makes me feel like I can start
joining in.  
Finding the time to participate in everything that interests me is another
matter!
Anyway, I'm saving this message for reference, and thank you so much for
giving us the lay of the land!

I wanted to pop in and Welcome every one to our little corner!   Welcome to
our new members and welcome back to everybody else! Have you rested up from
the convention yet?  Smile!  I don't know about you but I was exhausted!
Lol!  What a wealth of information!

If you are wondering, "What now?" I thought I would share some information
with you. 

We currently have several ongoing classes.  These classes will take you
where ever you are and move forward. Here they are:

1.	Beginner Crochet
2.	Advanced Crochet
3.	Beginner Loom Knitting
4.	Beginning Needle Knitting
5.	Caring & Sharing *New upcoming

If interested in any of these, please go to our calendar page for the times
and signup links.  These classes are on Zoom and also have a dedicated email
list specifically for that class.

There are Single classes which are also listed on the calendar page.  When
you sign up for these classes, please notice that there are edit fields for
class description and supplies.  Take advantage and copy & paste that info
into those fields.  Once you sign up for a class you will receive a
confirmation email that you have successfully signed up.  The info you
pasted into those fields will appear in that email.  This will come in handy
if you need to purchase any of those supplies.

Christmas in August

Look out! The month of August looks a lot like Christmas.  Smile!  There are
a lot of fun Christmas themed classes on our August calendar page.
Please sign up and get ahead of your Christmas gift giving. Yes, we do have
those ongoing classes but you will probably see a lot of red & green in
there too.  Lol! 

Chats

There are 2 chats a week unless the event is cancelled.

Monday Night chat is hosted by Jill, 1st VP.  She brings craft specific
topics, projects and/or visitors.  She sends out a reminder of the Chat and
the topic.

Friday Craft Hang Out is hosted by me, Tammy, Pres. This is an open chat.
We may happen to get in a craft related topic or 2 but we are mainly there
to visit with friends and make new ones.  Smile!  You can pop in at any
point and pop out when ever you need.

If you are interested in teaching a class, here is how that works:

1.	Give me a call or email so we can set a date and time.
2.	You complete a class proposal which is found on our website.  If
you find this to be a royal pain in the neck, please let me or Cathy F.
know.  We would be glad to help you through this process.
3.	You can promote your class on the main email list.
4.	You may want to send out a notice of the last day to sign up for
your class.  It is totally up to the teacher whether you except any one
after the sign up deadline 
5.	After students sign up, Dixie will collect those names, put them in
a list, assign you a Zoom link or a telephone number which is sent to you.
6.	You the teacher will contact your students and share the
information they need to join you in the class.
7.	Enjoy the class!

If you want to solo, that's great!  If you want a partner to help you teach
the class, go for it!  If you want a mentor to do a practice class, there
are many people that will help you. All you have to do is let us know.

The 1st and 15th of each month is Ad on our email list.  If you have craft
supplies that need a new home or make items, please share those
opportunities with us.  Put "For Sell" in the subject field.  Describe your
items, give prices, payment methods and your contact information.
**Important Note** This Division is not responsible for any portion of these
transactions.  All sells are between the buyer and seller.

Ok, I think I have dumped a lot of information on you, so I will stop for
now.  Hahaha!  If any one has any questions, please feel free to ask.
There are no dumb questions.  Smile!
