I would say this would make it worth learning how to crochet better. Sounds like a good idea.

Hello Ladies,
I have had experience with crocheted and knitted holsters like this one. I made a similar item, but made the back longer so it could be folded back upon itself and sewn to create a belt loop. These worked well as cane holders and oil/water bottle holders for me throughout the years as a massage therapist and a mom of 3. If I can be of any help please feel free to reach out to me.
