No-sew Mitsy Kit - Christmas in August project will be a JOY Wall Hanging kit.  Date: August 17th Time: 3:00 PM Eastern.

The completed project will be a ten-inch wide by 30 inches long red and white wall hanging with JOY spelled out vertically on three red fleece ten-inch squares with white ribbon stitched around each square, small white bows in the squares’ corners, and a dowel and white ribbon for hanging.  A simple running stitch is used on this kit as it makes it look like stitched blocks - so cute!  There is firm interfacing in between the red fleece squares and the cut-out letters are 5 inches wide by 7 + inches tall, made from a white foam material so it is tactile as well.

The cost for the 30-inch by 10-inch wall hanging kit will be $25.00, plus tax if you live in Florida - and this will include free shipping in the US.

Mitsy Kit Christmas Quilted Table Topper Sewing Project for August 24th at 7:00 PM Eastern - Christmas in August project.

The completed project will be a twenty-inch, reversible, quilted table topper made with two ten-inch Poinsettia patterned squares alternated with two ten-inch red squares for the top, thin interfacing in the middle, and a twenty-inch green and gold Christmas tree fabric for the backing.  A simple running stitch is used on this kit to piece and sew the four-patch top together, then the completed top will be sewn face to face with the backing and interfacing and turned right side out through a small slit in the backing.  The back slit will be covered with a fleece Christmas bell applique using fusible fabric tape.

The cost for the 20-inch square table topper kit will be $25.00, plus tax if you live in Florida - and this will include free shipping in the US.
