Ell, it's great to know they have them.  I'll remember this for next time I
need some.  I tend to lose about everything but my head; if it weren't
tacked on somehow, I'd probably lose it too.  <g<

I used to have this tape measure that had tactile measuring.  Each inch had
a round "eyelet", and half inches had a little "thingy" on it so you could
tell it was something other than the eyelet.  I used that thing for
years!!!!!  For a foot, it had two eyelets.  Granted you had to count to
know how many inches, but for me it wasn't difficult.  Well, I can't find
mine.  I searched everywhere but couldn't find anywhere to order them
either.  _But Blind Mice Mall has them.  I bought 2 so my total was $17
something; I think they were about $7 each, plus tax.  He doesn't have a
bunch in stock now and he may or may not be able to order more as I'm not
sure if they make them now or not.  But it is another resource to consider.
I was so happy to get them as I really miss them.  My husband will glad
measure for me, but he's not always here and I don't want to bother him
everytime I'm measuring.  He made me some little blocks that I use for some
of the more used measurements-1/2, 1, 2, 5, inches.  But still .  Anyway,
maybe this will help someone if they don't want talking ones or expensive
ones.
