Personally, I found Chenille very challenging to work with as it had no
elasticity.

I want to make my friend a purple shawl, and I want to know your opinions
about the following 3 yarns. Chunky chenille, caron simply soft, and bernat
blanket yarn.

I can adjust the pattern according to the thickness of the yarn.
