[NFB-Krafters-Korner] shawl

Hurray! I have a pattern, but I don't understand the beginning and where to place the markers. I know there are 3 rows before you start the repeating pattern. However, there is a row before those 3.
I was going to just make a long rectangle with the dishcloth pattern repeated, and cast on 114 stitches. But if I could understand the beginning for the round one, that would be great. I'm a little impatient, and it is hard for me to wait. Since Dixie sent the beginning of the fish pattern, and I have 2 other projects going, I will wait for you to send it.

Hi Bernise,

A few years ago someone taught a class to make a feather and fan shawl. I made one but with homespun yarn. The feather and fan is a really pretty pattern and the Caron simply soft is a really nice yarn. If you would like I could send you the pattern I have. This pattern is basically what I wrote out after the class, not the actual teachers emails. So I am free to share it.

No, I am not sending it to everyone, just to Bernice since she plans to make the shawl.
