You are lucky to still have a grand mother at that age!
I was singlely adopted, in 1963, when it was first leagleized.  I lost my adopted grand mother, when I was 30 and my adopted mom, when I was 45!
I kind of expected my grand mothers death, but my mom's death, was a shocker to the whole family!

Enjoy your grand mother, while you can and cherish your times, together!

If it was one day later I wouldn’t be able to be at anything that day. It’s not every day you get to celebrate someone’s 97th birthday! Our last party with her at home before she goes to memory care. What a long wonderful life and I’m lucky enough to be nearly 50 and still have grandparents. Enjoy your special day!
